FASTForward
Central Postal Services is licensed and certified with FASTforward software on our barcode equipment. This software automatically updates any address corrections or changes that are filed with the United States Postal Service (USPS). Using this software, mail is no longer returned to the sender for address correction and re-mail. Address changes are automatically sprayed onto the outbound piece while it processes through our barcode equipment. This saves you time and money in processing your outbound mail.
In order to use this software, the USPS requires that certain forms be completed by our customers and placed on file each year:
- Processing Acknowledgement Form
- Facsimile Processing Request Form
- Notification via Returned Mail Piece Processing Request Form
The Processing Acknowledgement Form must be completed, signed, and returned to Central Postal Services before you can take advantage of the features this software provides. To use the optional processes, please complete the additional forms.
NOTE: Mailpieces with windows that intrude into the FASTForward clear zone cannot be processed with the FASTForward system. The clear zone is 5/8" from bottom of mailpiece and 4 3/4" from the right edge.
